What is Frequency?
Frequency Percussion is a organization that operates exclusively in the field of
indoor percussive arts. Frequency is here to give men and woman ages 13-22, an
opportunity to learn life lessons and leadership skills through the medium of the
performing arts. Things such as pride in a group, commitment, teamwork, and
passion are words that describe traits that students will experience through
Frequency. Frequency is here to give the indoor experience to the Rome Georgia
area and bring a higher understanding of marching percussion to the community.

Frequency Percussion is a organization that promotes the advancement of the
medium of percussion by offering a unique educational experience for young
people, providing innovative ideas through music, and building the next generation
of leaders in the Rome area through the arts.
History
Frequency percussion was founded November 1st 2007. In its first year in the
Southern Association of Performing Arts circuit Frequency placed 2nd at Pope,
2nd at Chapel Hill, 1st at Forsyth Central and placed 2nd overall in the
Independent A classification for the 2008 championships. The executive director
is Matt Young and the Ensemble is officed in Carrollton Georgia
